FRC TEAM 6766 ATOMSTORM: TEAM CAPTAIN & LEAD PROGRAMMER

I first joined FRC Team 6766 back in 2023 just wanting to write code, but I’ve been serving as our Team Captain since late 2024. The 2026 season was an absolute ride for us. At the Canadian Pacific Regional, we made it all the way to the finals as the 3rd Alliance Captain in a field of 44 teams. We took home the Creativity Award, the Regional Finalist trophy, and punched our ticket to the FIRST World Championship in Houston—earning one of only four berths available, and marking the team's very first world championship trip since its rookie year in 2017.

Just five days later, we flew to the Shanghai Regional. Out of 50 competing teams, we captained a playoff alliance again and received the Judges' Award.

Once we got to Houston for worlds, we advanced to the playoffs in Houston. Over the course of the season, our global ranking went from #534 to #174—the biggest single-season jump our team has ever seen. On a personal note, I was named a FIRST Dean's List Nominee in both 2025 and 2026 (an award limited to at most two students per team each season).

PASSING IT ON

I help train Grade-10 students as they prepare to found Shenzhen Middle School's own FRC team, and I work as a teaching assistant at an FRC training program.

GENERATION-AI @ SCPKU (Grade 10)

I spent my sophomore winter (Nov 2024 - Feb 2025) in the Embodied AI track at the Stanford Center at Peking University (SCPKU). Over those four months, we learned to bridge software and physical hardware by building and prototyping AI-driven robotic systems from scratch.
